The objective of this project was to take something from pop culture and create a linear timeline with visuals from the chosen pop media that are relevant to the timeline. The second part of the project is then create some kind of “holder” for it and contain it. For mine, I did popular queer ships or pairings from various popular media with the themes of forgetting someone over time.
This was very much self-indulgent and an excuse to draw fanart for a project, however, when it came to making a container I envisioned it to be snapshots, like polaroids. Then, I expanded on that and imagined this as a potential product, something I would see as an activity DIY product being sold to teens in places like Barnes and Noble or Hot Topic, next to the media being featured in the product!
